ByteTech is an organization that serves full-line technical engineers of Bytedance internally and externally serves developers of the entire industry. Within Bytedance, we call the organization ByteTech. Juejin would be commonly used for external branding and events. We provide high-value technical knowledge, high-efficiency technical exchange resources and professional talent training programs for every technology enthusiast.

The Bootcamp software acts as a vital gateway for emerging coders and supplementary staff, offering direction and instructional tasks to familiarize beginners with operational methods.

Nevertheless, the intricate data structure of the previous configuration resulted in a decline in user-centric facilities and below-par performance efficiency.

Dashboard Design

By categorizing details by role, a dashboard layout accommodates distinct requirements for roles such as mentee, mentor, leader, and administrator.

Data Visualization

Initially, data were presented in tables, a method with limited capabilities in showcasing the performance of mentors and mentees. The integration of data visualization steps up the viewing and supervision process.

Synced Tasks

The tasks for new employees' onboarding are displayed on the Bytetech platform, but as an independent platform, it lacks sufficient reminders for new employees. After integrating with Lark tasks, it improves the completion status of tasks for new employees after onboarding.

Other internal businesses within ByteTech have seen improved efficiency by integrating with Feishu tasks. For example, after integrating with the Oncall system, the average handling time has reduced from 78.3 hours to 57.9 hours, resulting in a nearly 1-day reduction (26% decrease in processing time), significantly enhancing the efficiency of Oncall.

The “Assigned” is useful to track tasks assigned by mentors during onboarding.

Adding Subscribers

In situations where mentors allocate tasks necessitating cooperative efforts, subscribing proves advantageous.

Recurring Tasks

If mentees need to perform the same task regularly, a recurring task is useful. When you set the due date for a task, click Repeat and choose how often you'd like the task to repeat itself.

Switching Views

Switch between List and Kanban modes to better visualize and handle tasks, enhancing your comprehension and productivity in managing information.

Design for Collaboration

When working on a large project with others, having a centralized place for creating, tracking, and completing tasks is crucial. Task lists provide exactly that, ensuring that nothing is forgotten or overlooked. By adding collaborators, everyone can create and edit tasks. You also can create custom fields to help prioritize tasks, which all collaborators can see.

Creating A Task List

Create a task list: Click the New list icon next to Task List. Enter a name for the task list (such as a project's name) and click Create. Now, you can start creating tasks within the task list.

Adding Collaborators

Add collaborators: You can add members as collaborators and assign them view or edit permissions. Collaborators with view permission can see all tasks in the task list, while those with edit permission can edit and create tasks.

Managing Tasks with Custom Fields

Manage tasks: To help you and collaborators focus on key tasks, you can group, sort, and filter tasks. You can also create custom fields to add important information about tasks, such as their priority or risk level. This helps to keep everyone on the same page about what needs to be done.

View Updates

View task list updates: Click the Task List updates icon to view updates and progress of all tasks. For example, you can see whether a task has been completed or an owner has adjusted its priority level.

Drive mobile platform optimization and enhance user experience.

Orchestrated a remarkable 532.24% increase in daily active users (DAU) on the mobile platform compared to 2020, demonstrating substantial growth and engagement.

Achieved an impressive 296.01% surge in the percentage of active users on the mobile platform compared to 2020, indicating a significant improvement in user adoption and satisfaction.
